The challenge

I love football, I love watching it and I love playing it (I love even managing it in “Football Manager”). So, I know exactly when to watch it, that is an easy one, just look at your cable/stream service schedule. The most problematic thing, is to play it. You need to create a Whatsapp group, add all your friends, ask them if they want to play, then go figure in which pitch you are going to play, which one is free… aaaaghhh, sometimes, organizing a game takes away all the fun of playing it. That’s why, me and some of my football-loving friends, were set on creating an app, that makes playing football, well… easy.

The solution

After some iterations and some testing with our footballer friends, we discovered that we can tackle all 3 scenarios with one solution, a map. Having a map will allow us to show where there is a player missing, a pitch available or ask for a player that you are missing.

Let’s take the user scenario in which we would like to reserve a pitch. We just choose a date and time (we can choose now of course), choose a pitch from the map hub, pay and we are done, simpler than ordering a pizza or reserving tickets in the cinema ;).

You can appreciate how a map can open all the doors for our problems to be solved, just say when, choose where and go play football.
